This case presentation video addresses the restoration of a severely resorbed maxilla with a bar retained implant overdenture on 2 implants. The difficulty in that case was to find the appropriate tri-dimensional bone volume to place these two implants. The final outcome brought back function,aesthetics and played a major psychological role in her daily life.

Implant success is essentially dependent on the therapeutic aesthetic and functional outcomes. Implant macrogeometry is one of the factors that has been related to the peri-implant hard and soft tissue stability.Recent clinical and experimental work have demonstrated better results can be obtained when platform shifting, microgooves and conical seal and limited highly polished collar are added to the marginal implant configuration. The purpose of this presentation is to introduce a intra patient prospective cohort study  that evaluates  peri-implant bone stability and prevalence of peri-implantitis around implants with different macrogeometries and surface texture placed in similar clinical situations in the same patients.

In this case presentation the patient suffers from a severely deficient maxilla and mandible and inter arch discrepancy . The maxilla was treated with advanced reconstructive procedures ( Sinus Lift and GBR ) and implant supported fixed hybrid  prosthesis. The mandible was treated with implants placed lateral to the inferior alveolar nerve and a fixed prosthesis

In this case presentation, the patient suffered from a failed dentition in the maxilla and is planned to be restored with an implant retained fixed hybrid denture. This video demonstrates the step-by-step approach of the implant placement in the maxilla, including a titled implant to avoid the sinus. Plaster impression was taken immediately after surgery and an immediate temporary metal-acrylic denture was fixed to the implants.

The management of the anterior open bite may be quite  challenging  and in some cases necessitates a multidisciplinary approach.  We present here a  patient suffering from an anterior open bite with an ankylosed central incisor due to previous trauma. The anterior open bite was corrected using conventional orthodontics and the ankylosed incisor was repositioned in the correct tri dimensional position using segmental osteotomy. The repositioned bone block needed 5 months of stabilization and the prosthetic rehabilitation of the anterior maxilla was completed using e-max crowns. At 24 months ,the result  was stable with no relapse and an excellent pink and white esthetic score.
